Jackson Browne Solo and Acoustic – at the Jube March 28
Music fans ought to be familiar with this old bait ‘n’ switch: Mr. Super Impressive Folk Rock Legend is coming to Edmonton! Yay! And he’s playing solo. Oh …
First Chris Cornell and now this: Jackson Browne has announced the second leg of his Solo Acoustic Tour, which will bring his socially conscious folk-rock stylings to the Jubilee Auditorium on Monday, March 28. The 62-year-old Browne will play both guitar and piano (not at the same time), is expected to change his set-list every night and will employ such environmentally features as LED lighting and his patented “no plastic” contract rider, which has saved almost 60,000 plastic water bottles from the landfill since 2008. Musical material will draw from his long and storied career that stretches back to 1972. Political material will draw from the left. Expect at least to hear Doctor My Eyes. It still holds up, even solo.
