Experience the excitement only a free man can feel, a free man at the start of a long journey whose conclusion is uncertain – when Lil Wayne comes to town!
Jail is worth its weight in hype for this particular rap superstar as he embarks on his I’m Still Music tour. The 28-year-old rapper performs Thursday, April 28 at Rexall Place. And you can bet he’ll be doing his new single 6 Foot 7 Foot – a little nod to Harry Belafonte with our favourite lyric “life is a bitch and death is her sister – which was released just a month after he got out of prison last November. He served eight months of a one-year sentence on a gun and marijuana conviction.
Is that gangsta cred enough for ya?
Lil Wayne has a big backup posse on this tour: Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Travis Barker (the guy from Blink-182 who’s turned into sort of … well, we’re not quite sure) and the great Mixmaster Mike of Beastie Boys fame.
Tickets are $49.75 $89.75 and $115.75 (plus service charges) and are on sale at Livenation and Ticketmaster.
