Oh, Brothers – The Black Keys play Rexall June 29
Now that the Black Keys are officially awesome, who do they have to thank for being the first to recognize it?
That’s right: It’s Canada, baby. We are the first country in the world to have given the Ohio band a platinum record, for its critically-acclaimed Brothers – which won best rock performance at the recent Grammy Awards, as well as beating out the Arcade Fire for the alternative trophy. Better than Arcade Fire. Wow.
As a reward for our Canadian loyalty, the Black Keys have mounted an extensive Canadian tour that will include Edmonton’s Rexall Place on Wednesday, June 29.
Cage the Elephant will open.
Tickets to this all-ages show (general admission floor, reserved seating in the stands) are $37 and $47 and go on sale this Saturday, Feb 26 at Ticketmaster.
