FISHEYE: Glad to the bone
Today, Mother’s Day, is your last chance to catch Brian Jungen’s captivating Cetology and Shapeshifter sculptures, hanging like giant whale skeletons on the third floor of the AGA. The entire gallery – building included – is extremely coherent right now, themes of native art, nature and bones fitting together seamlessly, not to mention good old Canadian artistry riffing off our surroundings. And if you have red-cyan 3D glasses, now’s the time to slip them on.
Our regular photo of the day (potd) feature from Fish Griwkowsky is a visual diary and memoir of his life in and out of the city.
