USS, Death from Above in Jingle Bell Rock doubleheader at the EEC
Stop it already with the holiday creep! It’s not even Halloween and we’re already thinking about Christmas.
The signs are inevitable – and one is the announcement of the annual Jingle Bell Rock event for charity. This year’s bash for a good cause is a doubleheader. The first show features Toronto’s dance-rock outfit Death from Above at the Edmonton Event Centre on Saturday Nov. 19. The next, announced today, will take place Friday, Dec. 9 at the Edmonton Event Centre and features Sonic radio favourites USS (Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker, above) and its wacky brand of”folk-dance-science-rap,” whatever the heck that is. Also on the bill will be fellow buzz bands and Sonic faves Mass Choir and Dreamface.
Tickets are $23.50, on sale here for Death from Above, and for USS on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.
A portion of ticket sales will be donated to the Edmonton Youth Emergency Shelter Society. Non-perishable food donations will be accepted at the door.
