Some say that that Stan Lee isn’t a human.
There are online rumours that the iconic geek-chic god is like something from one of his own comics, some sort of machine that has the ability to create gold. Gold in the form of ideas that turn into heroes that turn into some of the biggest marketable brands ever created. But, those are just murmurs. We wouldn’t want to give in to speculation.
With that said, Stan Lee (aka The Godfather, Mr. Lee, The Stanimal) is coming to the Edmonton Comic Book and Entertainment Expo . The creator of Spider-Man, the Hulk, the Fantastic Four, Iron Man, the X-Men (and personal fave She-Hulk), will appear on Friday, Sept. 25 and Saturday, Sept. 26 only. He will also speak at a spotlight panel (which is included with your ticket purchase) and participate in autograph and photo op sessions with fans, which of course will cost additional funds.
Also on the docket for the Expo this are Chloe Bennet (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), David Guintoli, Bitsie Tulloch, and Sasha Roiz (Grimm), John Noble (Fringe, Sleepy Hollow, Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy), Orlando Jones (MadTV), Amber Benson (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Supernatural), James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, PS I Love You), Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy, The Walking Dead), Sean Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy, Gilmore Girls), Sebastian Roche (Fringe, Supernatural) and Brian O’Halloran (Clerks, Mallrats) and Tom DeFalco (Amazing Spider-Man) amongst others.
There are many different styles and flavours of tickets this year, which can be purchased here. For more information on the Expo, visit here.
