Justin Timberlake forced to postpone Edmonton shows

Fans of Justin Timberlake are encouraged to hang on to their tickets for the postponed shows in Edmonton this coming Sunday and Monday – because he fully expects his “bruised vocal cords” to heal up in time for make-up dates in early 2019.
How do you even bruise your vocal cords, anyway? By singing too hard? At this point, Justin says he can’t even talk out loud.
The new shows will be announced soon. Ticket refunds will be offered at the point of purchase, or will still be good for the rescheduled concerts.
“Doctors orders,” the singer recently tweeted about shows he also had to postpone at Madison Square Garden in New York City. “… so sorry to do this, but excited to see you soon.”
Timberlake was to play a two-nighter at Rogers Place as part of “The Man of the Woods Tour” after his new album of the same name.
Since his days with the boy band ‘NSYNC, he has proven himself a passionate fan of R&B and a splendid showman, surrounding himself with the best players in the business and bringing both joy and humour to music that has inundated the mass consciousness. Area fans were expecting a great show, and you can bet they’ll be hanging onto their tickets.
